About undsgn

undsgn is a specialist WordPress theme studio that has built a strong reputation on Envato Market by focusing on a tightly curated product line rather than a sprawling catalog. Their flagship release, Uncode, dominates the creative and WooCommerce theme space, evidenced by more than 137,200 sales — a figure that places it firmly among the platform's all-time bestsellers.

Rather than shipping dozens of themes, undsgn channels its development resources into Uncode, keeping it regularly updated and feature-rich. That focused approach tends to translate into better long-term support and a more cohesive design system for buyers.

What undsgn Themes Are Known For

  • Pixel-perfect design layouts: Uncode ships with a large library of professionally designed pre-built sites and section templates, reducing the time needed to go from installation to a live site.
  • Deep WooCommerce integration: Custom shop layouts, product page builders, and cart styling options make undsgn a credible choice for creative e-commerce projects.
  • Visual front-end editing: Uncode bundles a proprietary content editor alongside WPBakery, giving site owners granular control without requiring code.
  • Typography and grid focus: The theme reflects a clear editorial and agency sensibility, with advanced typographic controls and a flexible grid system suited to portfolio and magazine layouts.

Honest Trade-Offs to Consider

undsgn's concentrated catalog means your options are limited if Uncode's creative direction doesn't align with your brand. The theme is also feature-dense, which comes with a steeper learning curve than simpler multipurpose alternatives — new users should budget time for onboarding. At $59, the price point is competitive for the feature set, but buyers should be aware that premium add-ons or third-party plugins may add to the total cost of ownership.

Support is handled through the Envato Help Center system, which can mean slower turnaround during peak periods — a common limitation across marketplace authors, not unique to undsgn.

Our Editorial Verdict

Our editorial team rates undsgn's Uncode at 9.1 out of 10. For creative agencies, freelance designers, and WooCommerce store owners who want a polished, flexible foundation, undsgn delivers consistent quality backed by a substantial and satisfied buyer base. If your project calls for a highly stylized, design-forward WordPress theme, this author belongs at the top of your shortlist.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked

Is undsgn a reliable Envato author to buy from?

Based on marketplace data, undsgn has accumulated over 137,000 sales and a buyer rating of 4.89 out of 5 on Envato Market, both of which signal a well-established and trusted author. Their focused catalog approach suggests ongoing commitment to their existing products rather than abandoning themes after launch.

How many themes does undsgn sell on Envato?

undsgn is best known for a tightly focused catalog centered on Uncode, their flagship WordPress theme. Rather than releasing many themes, the studio concentrates its updates and support on this single product, which our editorial team views as a plus for long-term reliability.

Is Uncode by undsgn good for WooCommerce stores?

Yes. Uncode includes dedicated WooCommerce layout options, custom product page builders, and shop styling controls that go beyond what most general-purpose themes offer. It's a credible choice for creative e-commerce projects, though very large catalog stores may find a WooCommerce-specialist theme more optimized.

Is undsgn's Uncode theme suitable for beginners?

Uncode is feature-rich, which means the learning curve is steeper than simpler themes. Beginners can absolutely use it, especially with the pre-built site templates, but should budget extra time for onboarding. Users comfortable with page builders will adapt more quickly.

What is the price of undsgn's Uncode theme?

Uncode is priced at $59 for a regular license on Envato Market, which covers use on a single end product. This includes future updates and a period of author support. Extended licenses are available for specific commercial use cases at a higher price point set by the marketplace.
