What ThemeForge is

ThemeForge catalogs and reviews premium themes for WordPress, Joomla and Drupal. Every theme in our index carries a single editorial score out of 10, calculated from four measurable signals in public ThemeForest marketplace data: lifetime sales history, verified buyer ratings, update cadence and value for money. Our reviews are written and maintained by a collective editorial team. We publish under a shared identity rather than individual bylines: every score follows the same rubric regardless of who runs the numbers, and the methodology — not a personality — is the authority behind each verdict.

Where the data comes from

All market data on this site — sales counts, buyer ratings, update dates, prices — comes from public ThemeForest marketplace listings. We do not use private or self-reported numbers, and we clearly date our data snapshots. Theme names, thumbnails and preview images belong to their respective authors and are shown under marketplace promotional allowances.

How we make money

ThemeForge is funded by affiliate commissions. When you buy a theme through one of our marketplace links, we may earn a commission from the marketplace at no extra cost to you. That is the entire business model — and it never influences editorial assessments. Theme authors cannot pay for placement, scores or coverage. Read the full affiliate disclosure.

What we never do

• We never sell, host or distribute theme files — purchases always happen on the official marketplace through the author's listing.
• We never accept payment, free licenses-for-coverage deals or sponsorships in exchange for scores or rankings.
• We never publish "nulled" or pirated software, or link to sites that do.
